I. BPC Short-Cut-Grind Cell
Operation Definition: The cell is a high output bar cutting and grinding production line. It is ideal for shaft work with tight tolerances in length, diameter and surface finish. If required, parts can be non-destructively tested for surface discontinuities to assure defect-free production. Incoming material must be cold drawn or turned and polished prior to entering the cell.

Cell Capabilities:
Length: 5.5" to 36" +/- .008"
Diameter: .750" to 3.00" +/- .0004", to ASTM A-29
Finish: 32 RMS

II. BPC Long Bar Grinding
BPC also has the ability and expertise to grind bar and tube products in long bar form. Part manufacturers can capitalize on products where the incoming material is ground to finished part size by reduction of cycle time or non-value-added processes altogether. Long bar products can be ground to ASTM A-29 specifications providing industry standard dimensional control.
